Where to Get Wood Planks and Diamonds

You can make many Wood Planks from Wood Logs, which are dropped by trees. Place a stack of Wood Logs on any crafting grid to make Wood Planks from them. For every 1 Wood Log converted this way, you will get 4 Wood Planks.

If you want to mine Diamonds, you will have to head deep underground. Diamond Ore blocks will only spawn between layers 1 to 15, and when they do, it will be rare. Don’t forget that Diamonds only drop from Diamond Ore blocks when mined with an Iron Pickaxe or higher-tier one. Diamonds can also be found in the Chests of many different structures and locations, though the odds of this are pretty low as well.

Can I activate a jukebox with Redstone?

Active jukeboxes give off a Redstone signal when a Redstone comparator is put right behind it or through an adjoining cube; its strength depends on the ID of the inserted disc.

Introduction: Minecraft Jukebox Door Lock

This Instructable will teach you how to make a door lock using jukeboxes in Minecraft. This video will give you an example of how this might be used, and a tutorial that you can follow. Let us start by explaining how this redstone contraption works. Different discs send off different redstone signals. The disc we use in the tutorial “cat”, has a signal strength of 3 blocks. When we put the disc in the jukebox, it sends a signal and turns off one of the redstone torches. In the circuit we have created, when we have a disc in both the jukeboxes, both signals go off, turning off the redstone torches, while activating the redstone torch above it, which in turn, activates the iron door.

Step 1: Materials

6 Blocks (You can choose any block, except for a redstone block)

2 Redstone Comparators

3 Pieces of Redstone Dust

3 Redstone Torches

2 Music Discs (They must be CAT.)

As you can see, this door lock can be easily built in survival.

Step 2: The Build

Start by placing 2 of your blocks next to each other.

Step 3: Jukebox

Place your first jukebox two blocks away from your previously placed blocks. There should be one space in between your two blocks and the jukebox.

Step 4: Redstone Comparator

Place a Redstone Comparator in front of your jukebox. Then place a piece of redstone dust next to the comparator.

Step 5: 2nd Jukebox

Go to the other side of your two placed blocks and place your 2nd jukebox so that it mirrors the first.

Step 6: Redstone Comparators

Place your 2nd comparator and redstone dust like in the previous steps.

Step 7: Torches

Place two Redstone Torches on the two placed blocks.

Step 8: Blocks

Place two of your blocks above the redstone torches. You can do this by hovering over the torch and right clicking.

Step 9: Signal Torch

Place a redstone torch on the rightmost block above the redstone torches.

Step 10: Blocks

Place one of your blocks next to the signal torch, and place one underneath. You can do this by facing the redstone torch, hovering over it, and right clicking, then right clicking underneath the block.

Step 11: Wrecking Ball

Break the block that is next to the redstone torch.

Step 12: Redstone

Place a piece of redstone dust over your block that is next to the redstone torch. You may need to jump and right click over the block.

Step 13: Door

Finally, place your iron door next the block, but make sure it is not in between the redstone torch and the block. It will mess up the signal.

Step 14: How to Use It

You’re Done! Now here’s how you use it. Go to the other side of the contraption and put a disc in the jukebox. This is preparation to make the iron door work.

Step 15: Using It

Stand in front of the contraption and place a disc in the jukebox. This will make the iron door open.

Step 16: Closing the Door From the Inside

When you’re inside, take the disc out of the jukebox, and the door will close.

Step 17: Opening the Door

Put the disc back into the jukebox to make the door open.

Step 18: Leaving

When you are about to leave, take the disc out to close the door.

Step 19: Finishing Touches

You’re now a master at creating your own redstone jukebox door locks! Add this to your survival house, or your secret bunker, or wherever you like. Thank you, and if this helped you out, please leave a vote for more tutorial like this! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below.

Believe it or not, there are still players that listen to music discs in Minecraft, including me.

I tried making a command loop that would play different discs for me every 5 minutes. Here’s what command I use:

This successfully executes the command, and the music starts playing, but if I move away from the point where I was standing, the music fades away, as if there was a jukebox playing the music that I’m moving away from.

What I want to do is have the music follow me when moving. Is this possible to do through commands?

1 Answer 1

In theory the minimumVolume parameter should fulfil exactly this purpose, but I couldn’t get it to work. Maybe that’s a bug.

But the volume parameter of /playsound can in a way actually be used to specify a spatial volume instead of an audio volume! The trick, as described in the wiki (archive):

For values greater than 1.0, the sound will not actually grow louder, but its audible range (a 16-block radius at 1.0) will be multiplied by volume. There will always be a gradual falloff to silence based on distance from the center of the sphere.

That means that you can just enter the maximum value of a Float , except that it’s for some reason slightly different in Minecraft. By just trying out values I found that the maximum value is:

So you can use this command to play a sound everywhere:

That way it only gets 0.000000000000000000000000000024936% quieter when you go to the other end of the world.

This even works across dimensions for some reason. But when you go through a portal, the sound stops.

Jukeboxes are used to play music discs obtained through chests in dungeons or by getting a skeleton to kill a creeper. There are 11 different music discs, though only 1 can be played at a time. Jukeboxes are created using 8 planks and a diamond.

You can use any combination of plank colours, but this will not affect the result, which always looks the same. Jukeboxes can be destroyed by hands, though an axe is faster. Desroying it will drop the jukebox and any disc that might be inside it

Music

To play a song, hold the disc you want to play and right click the jukebox. The disc will be inserted and play untill the song is over. Once the song is over the disc will remain in the jukebox untill you right click it again. There is currently no way to loop music, so you have to eject and inject the discs every time you want to listen to it.

Music can travel up to about 75 blocks, though it becomes quite faint. Minecraft will take the position of your character in consideration when playing the music. If you stand left of the playing jukebox with your character, music can be heard better from a right channel speaker. This is most noticeable when using headphones.

Jukebox was remixed from Jukebox.

First and foremost, Taraji P. Henson has confirmed that she and Kanye West are friends, and that he is a big fan of “Empire”. In an interview with Access Hollywood, she stated “Kanye loves the show. He’s a big fan of the show. He called me…I was in my trailer and I answered my phone and it was Kanye. And he’s like, ‘Yo, I’m a fan of the show. I love what you’re doing.’ And I was like, ‘Thank you so much!’ And he’s like, ‘No, thank you for blessing me with your talent.’” It seems rather coincidental that her character would have a son who shares a name with West’s real-life son, unless there was some deeper connection between them.

Another clue that suggests Tariq Kanan may be Kanye West’s son is the fact that West paid a visit to the “Empire” set in March 2015. While he was there, he reportedly filmed a cameo for Season 2B (which never aired) in which he played himself. During his visit, West also spent time with Taraji P. Henson and her co-star Terrence Howard. This suggests that there may have been some discussion between them about the possibility that Tariq Kanan is West’s son.

Finally, there is some circumstantial evidence that suggests Tariq Kanan may be related to Kanye West in another way. In February 2015, TMZ reported that Kanye West had filed legal documents to establish paternity for a child who may be his son. The child’s mother had not yet been identified at that time, but it was speculated that she may have been Taraji P. Henson due to her friendship with Kanye West. While this has never been confirmed, it does add more fuel to the fire of speculation surrounding Tariq Kanan’s parentage.

What Happened To Jukebox Mom On Power?

Kenya, Jukebox’s mom, left the family when Jukebox was very young in order to pursue a career as a singer in Los Angeles. However, she has since returned to Harlem and is now heavily involved in the church community there.

Is Ghost Tariq’s Father?

It remains a matter of speculation. However, there are several pieces of evidence that suggest that Ghost (Tariq’s father) and Raina are indeed related.

First, Tariq refers to Ghost as “dad” in a conversation with Kanan. This could be interpreted as a sign of affection, but it is also possible that Tariq simply doesn’t know his father’s real name and is referring to him as such out of habit.

Second, a deleted scene from Season 4 confirms that Ghost and Raina are related. In the scene, Ghost reveals to Kanan that he has a daughter and shows him a picture of Raina. This scene was likely deleted because it provides too much information about Ghost’s backstory and takes away from the suspense of future episodes. However, it does suggest that Ghost is indeed Tariq’s father.

Are Kanan And Ghost Brothers?

No, Kanan and Ghost are not brothers. However, Kanan was a mentor to both Ghost and Tommy. It was Kanan along with his business partner Breeze who taught the men everything they knew about the drug business.

Who Is Jukebox To Marvin?

Jukebox is Marvin’s daughter and the niece of Kanan.

What Episode Of Power Is Jukebox Introduced?

The episode of Power in which Jukebox is introduced is Season 3, Episode 1, “They’re Coming.”

Who Is The White Girl In Raising Kanan?

Nicole Bingham is a white girl who is friends with Kanan Stark and Tariq Lucas. She is also the daughter of a high-ranking member of the AUSA, the agency investigating Kanan. Nicole is initially unsupportive of Kanan and Tariq’s relationship, but she eventually comes around.

How Much Older Is Kanan Than Ghost?

Assuming that Kanan is 16 years old in Season 2, he would be six years older than Ghost. This would make sense, as Kanan is a mentor figure to Ghost.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

(Note: I play Minecraft: Education Edition on a Chromebook, if that may have something to do with this issue)

This has been an issue that Minecraft: Education Edition has that has been bugging me recently. Java Edition has the music built in, but in Bedrock Edition, you have to get the music yourself from the Marketplace. However, while Minecraft: Education Edition is built off of Bedrock Edition, it doesn’t have the Marketplace, so I can’t get it from there. I have recently gotten a music disc (Cat) from a dungeon in my Survival world, and I was excited to hear it. So I took my disc, put it into my jukebox, and. nothing. The song didn’t play. I went into my game settings, turned everything to the max, tried again, and still nothing. Oddly enough, there is a music volume setting and a Jukebox/Note Block volume setting. However, they do not work at all, as they stay completely quiet even at volume 100 (Note Blocks do work, though, so the Jukebox/Note Block setting sorta works). When I realized this, I surfed the web, looking for a mod or resource pack that could fix this issue. I couldn’t find one. There is also non of Minecraft’s phenomenal music playing. This is a massive bummer for me, as I love Minecraft’s soundtrack, and especially the discs. May the Minecraft: EE team please add Minecraft’s music into the game and fix the Jukebox and its disks? It can be it built in like in Java Edition, or be as a resource pack. Also, may you guys please add the music in a minor update (I don’t mind if you guys want to add it in in a major update though)? Also also, if the reason you guys can’t add it in is complicated, then I’d love to hear. Get as technical as you guys want! Or if it is something to with my Chromebook, then I’d also like to hear.

Thank you for reading my post. It means a lot to me.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

Overview

In Minecraft, moving things from chest to chest is super tedious and time-consuming. Essentially, it involves emptying your inventory and then transferring all the items from one chest to your inventory and then to the next chest. It sucks! Mods make this easier with the addition of pipes and similar items, however, those don’t work for Vanilla. Today, we’re going to look at the Vanilla solution made for this problem, Hoppers! We’re going to go over how they work, how to make them, and more. Let’s begin.

How to make Hoppers

The Hopper crafting recipe is quite cheap. All you’ll need to do is gather a little bit of Iron and some wood to make a chest. If you want multiple hoppers to create a sort of chain, or multiple projects, be sure to gather lots of Iron.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

Next, simply place the Iron and Chest into a crafting table in the following pattern.

  • 5 Iron
  • 1 Chest

Hopper Functionality

A Hopper is a block that can be used to catch item entities, or to transfer items into and out of containers. A container could be a chest, barrel, or any block that holds items. The hopper can be used as a container, crafting ingredient, and a Redstone component.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

In the image above, you can see the simplest version of an auto-smelter. It has the ore being fed into the Furnace through the top, fuel being pushed into the side, and an output chest that collects all the smelted ore. It’s quite well made! Hoppers have an “output” tube at the bottom of its model that can face down or sideways and provides a visual indication of which block the hopper is set up to drop its items into, if that block has an inventory. Simply place the hopper while aiming at the surface to which its output should face (Hoppers don’t orient themselves automatically). To do this, you’ll need to sneak while placing the hopper.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

Hoppers actually can receive a Redstone signal. When it does, all three functions cease. (note how the item in the image above will float on top of a locked hopper rather than being picked up) Powered Hoppers can best be described as ‘locked’ and unpowered hoppers can be described as being ‘unlocked.’ While a locked hopper does not push or pull/collect items, it may still receive items from dispensers, droppers, and other hoppers, and may have its items pulled out by another hopper beneath it. Hence, the item flow in a horizontal hopper pipe may be stopped by locking just one of the hoppers, but stopping a vertical hopper pipe requires locking two adjacent hoppers at the same time, such that both the pushing of the top one and the pulling of the bottom one are stopped. Hoppers can also be moved by pistons, despite not being a solid block.

All Containers

This is a comprehensive list of all the containers that a hopper can pull items from.

  • Composter
  • Brewing Stand
  • Chest
  • Trapped Chest
  • Furnace
  • Blast Furnace
  • Smoker
  • Hopper
  • Minecart with Chest
  • Minecart with Hopper
  • Jukebox
  • Shulker Box
  • Lectern
  • Barrel
  • Dispenser
  • Dropper
  • Boat with Chest

Conclusion

That’s all there is to it! The Hopper is a fairly complex block that acts as the Vanilla implementation of features from Tekkit and Voltz that people have wanted for years. In any case, it’s an incredibly intuitive block that can be used in many ways, and it is definitely a fan favorite. Huge thanks to the Minecraft wiki, as I would never have understood the mechanics of this block on my own. I hope you all learned something new, and have a great day!

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

Parrots are adorable little companions in Minecraft known for their adorable mimicry and the ability to ride on the Player’s shoulders.

However, being that small makes Parrots a rather fragile Mob that can easily be hurt or killed by other hostile Mobs or even explosions and falling blocks. Unfortunately, Parrots cannot be healed nor bred within the game.

Because of this you have to put in extra effort to keep your pet Parrots safe and sound.

Where to Find Parrots

Parrots are animals that spawn only in Jungle Biomes and their variants. They can usually be found either alone or in small groups of 2, above Y levels of 70.

Some of the common Jungle Biome variants where you can expect to find Parrots are:

  • Jungle
  • Sparse Jungle (Bedrock Edition)
  • Bamboo Jungle

Sometimes finding a specific biome can be hard. There’s ways to change Biomes and have it determined that you will find the Biome with your Parrots.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

In any of these Biomes the easiest way to find a Parrot will always be to listen for it. Parrots are well known for imitating sounds of different, usually, hostile Mobs. There is a tiny difference between the sound of the actual Mob and the Parrots imitation, so listen carefully.

Another give away can be some of the very bright colors Parrots can have, especially the blue and red Parrots. You can usually see them from pretty far away as they’re flying around in the Jungle.

Parrot Behavior

Parrots are friendly Mobs, so taming one is pretty easy. Simply approaching the Parrot with any kind of Seed from the game and feeding the seeds to it will allow you to tame the Parrot.

After that the Parrot will follow you around while cawing and doing Mob imitation sounds. If you aren’t always moving and the Parrot catches up to you it’ll sit on your shoulder.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

Because Parrots are so fragile and cannot be healed once damaged, you don’t want to take it everywhere with you. This means you will have to get the Parrot off your shoulder and put it in a ‘stay’ positon.
Like Dogs and Cats, a tamed Parrot will sit down when you right click on it.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

Parrots are also known for being able to dance when there’s music being played from a Jukebox nearby.

Items Usable on Parrots

There are several Items that can be used on Parrots. The first of these are the Seeds that you can use to tame them. Taming a Parrot can be done with any type of crop seed in the game:

  • Seeds (Wheat)
  • Melon Seeds
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Beetroot Seeds

However none of these can be used once the Parrot has been tamed. This means there is no way to heal or breed Parrots in the game. A Parrot only has 3 hearts of health and most attacks can quickly kill it.

Like other neutral and passive Mobs, you can interact with a Parrot using a Lead. This will allow you to put the Lead on it and drag the parrot around or tie it to a Fence if it isn’t tamed.

Cookies

Cookies are a food Item that can be used on a Parrot, but by no means should you ever feed your Minecraft Parrot a Cookie.

A Cookie in either version of Minecraft (Java and Bedrock Edition) will either immediately kill the Parrot or inflict deadly Poison to it. This is a reference to Parrots actually being allergic to chocolate in real life.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

It is likely a mechanic implemented in the game to teach younger players that they cannot feed chocolate or cookies to animals. It is an entirely unique game mechanic that cannot be applied to other tamable Animals in Minecraft.

1. Open Your Crafting Menu

To craft scaffolding, you first must open your crafting table in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as the image below.

2. Add The Scaffolding Ingredients To The Menu

In the crafting table, add the 6 bamboo and 1 string to the grid.

You must add both items to the grid exactly as shown in the image below. In the 1st row place down 1 bamboo in the 1st box, 1 string in the 2nd box, and 1 bamboo in the 3rd box. In the 2nd row place down 1 bamboo in the 1st box and 1 bamboo in the 3rd box. In the last row place down 1 bamboo in the 1st box and 1 bamboo in the 3rd box. This is the Minecraft scaffolding recipe.

After you’ve added the items to the crafting grid as described above, you’ll notice 6 scaffolding in the box on the right.

3. Move The Scaffolding To Your Inventory

Now, simply drag the scaffolding down to your inventory so you can use them.

You’re done! Minecraft scaffolding is used to help players reach high places, which comes in handy when building, and it can reduce fall damage.

[x] [y] [z] [volume] [pitch] [minimumVolume]

You can set Value of Volume and minimumVolume between 0.0 to 1.0

so, you can use like this:

The minimum volume only effects an area and will still not be heard a few blocks away. The volume command is actually not to do with volume of sound, but distance it can be heard. So by ramping it up to 300, you have to be 1000s of chunks away not to hear it.

Want to know the new Minecraft height limit? The latest 1.18 update for Minecraft brought a whole new host of features, like new ways of generating mountains and caves, as well as shuffling around where certain ores can be found. But one particularly important change is raising the height limit. This means players can build taller and more detailed structures, as well as have more of the world available to them to explore. Read on below to find out the new Minecraft height limit and depth limit for 1.18.

Minecraft height limit: how high can you build in 1.18?

For years, the height limit in Minecraft was left untouched, with no indication that it would be raised again. It used to be between the Y-Levels of 0 and 255, with 0 being an impassable layer of bedrock, and 255 being the ceiling of the sky.

As of Minecraft 1.18, the height limit has been changed to 319, and the lower limit is now -64. This change increases the total height of the world by 128 blocks. Players can now build 64 blocks higher into the sky, as well as explore another 64 blocks deeper into the ground.

This is likely to benefit those of you who love hiding your homes underground, or getting great views of the environment from high up above. 1.18 also brings new mountain types that naturally generate in the terrain, as well as stylish cave biomes, both of which take advantage and give a lot of incentive to explore the new height changes. Not to mention, the upcoming Minecraft 1.19 update should add even more variety with its biome diversity, as well as the inclusion of the Warden.

That’s all you need to know about the new changes to the height limit in Minecraft’s 1.18 update. If you’re returning and want to explore something new, check out our best Minecraft seeds. And if you want to make your version of Minecraft as beautiful as possible, take a look at our suggestions for the best Minecraft shaders, as well as our pick for the best Minecraft texture packs.

How to craft a jukebox on minecraft

The creativity Minecraft inspires in players extends beyond creative feats within the game, as demonstrated by user liamoco123, who shared five photos to Reddit on March 7 highlighting their life-sized wooden jukebox masterpiece.

Owning a jukebox in any Minecraft survival world is a sign of luxury and usually means you have resources to spare since it requires one precious diamond alongside eight wooden planks. As difficult as diamonds are to acquire in Minecraft, constructing a nearly life-sized jukebox is probably much more laborious and is definitely more impressive.

The pattern of the life-sized jukebox creation is spot on to the blocky one in Minecraft and the creator said they “used the woods natural color to make the pattern” that mimics the design of the jukebox within the game. Creating the complex pattern and constructing the entire jukebox required over 1,000 pieces of wood, which is quite a bit more than the measly eight required to create a jukebox in Minecraft.

“The jukebox is made from mostly walnut wood ’tiles’ I cut out myself glued to plywood for structure,” liamoco123 said, “It’s roughly 2/3 scale. There is a speaker housed inside the disk slot that lets me play music. My favorite is playing the cat disk from the game.”

Here, we discuss 10 of the rarest items in Minecraft that, if you got your hands on them, would leave other players green with envy.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Minecraft is stumbling across or obtaining an item that is rare. Here, we discuss 10 of the rarest items in Minecraft that, if you got your hands on them, would leave other players green with envy!

Nether Star

Obtained by defeating a Wither. A Wither is a type of mob that floats and shoots explosive skulls at players. You first have to summon the wither, then defeat it which is NOT an easy task. The Nether Star can be used to craft beacons.

Dragon Egg

This is perhaps the only truly unique item that can be found in Minecraft as there is only one of them per game. The egg appears on top of the exit portal once you have killed the dragon and is hard to get to. If you try and mine it, the egg teleports a short distance away. Therefore, the easiest way to collect it is to ensure there are no air blocks for it to teleport to. There isn’t much use to the egg, apart from being a fantastic talisman!

Sea Lantern

These are a glowing block that a player can use to light up the world around them. They are pale cubes that emit white light. Unfortunately, these only generate in rare ocean ruins and monuments. If you do come across them, add them into your inventory as they can be very useful.

Chainmail Armour

This is an example of an item that cannot be crafted. They can sometimes be dropped by certain mobs if the player is lucky to stumble across one. They can also be obtained by heading to a village and making a trade with a blacksmith. Once you have chainmail armour, it is a great item to enchant.

Mob Heads

Mob Heads are rarely dropped, so they are not a common sight. If you do find them, you can use them as blocks, wear them as a helmet to scare others or simply keep them because they are an unusual find. There are 6 types in total and when worn creeper, zombie and skeleton heads can help reduce the detection rate of the player when they are near the matching mob by 50%.

Emerald Ore

This is the rarest type of ore and can only be found in the Extreme Hills biome. It is rare to come across it without some intensive mining. If you are lucky enough to find some, you can use it to trade with villagers. Mine the ore using an iron pickaxe otherwise, you may break it. If like the majority of players, you do not come across emerald ore to mine, you can still obtain emeralds through trading so all is not lost.

Beacon Block

These go on top of a pyramid and can be made from iron, gold or diamond blocks. Once activated they can act as a buffer and you can have fun playing around with the colours. All you need to do is place coloured glass over it. They can be mined which is rare or crafted from nether star, glass blocks and obsidian.

Music Discs

There are 12 unique discs that players can find in Minecraft. They can be played on a jukebox and two of them can be discovered in chests. The others can be found when tricking a skeleton into killing a creeper with its arrow. It takes A LOT of time to collect them all but is a task for hardcore fans that fancy a new challenge.

Sponges

Sponge blocks are obtained in ocean monuments. When they are dry, they can instantly absorb water when placed next to a water block. They can be a useful, temporary fix to stop water from flooding when used correctly. You can also craft these blocks however it is made with a furnace and not a crafting table

Ender Pearls

Finally, in our list of rarest items in Minecraft is Ender Pearls. Endermen are spooky mobs that appear every now and then during the night. Because they teleport, they can be tricky to defeat. Weirdly, by wearing a pumpkin as a helmet will help prevent them from becoming hostile, giving you precious time to attack them. You can then collect ender pearls which aid you teleporting long distances.

Discovering new items in Minecraft is a lot of fun and these are just some of the rarest items that can be found. If you manage to get hold of these, congratulations! Make the most of them and keep on searching for more and see how many on this list you can find! What is your favourite rare item in Minecraft- let us know!
